✨ You ever question why was I created like this? Why does society worship the things that I don’t have? We all know that society’s view on what woman should and shouldn’t have isn’t fair but we still let it put us in bondage. Well guess what? ASHANTI IS TIRED! I’m tired of having the pressures of having to wear my hair a certain way, my face always beat, my body “perfect”. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nothing wrong with those things. Ya girl loves a nice beat, but question is why am I doing it? Is it because I really wanna do it, or society glorifies it. The same joy you have when you put on your makeup, do you have that same joy when you take it off? These are the questions I ask myself, then I try to brush it off because ” I’m being too deep lol”
✨ Don’t you think its crazy that the world expects so much from us woman? Things that aren’t even natural for the average woman, but we are suppose to just agree with it and turn into what they want. That will not be me anymore, but girl was me. So if yall don’t mind I would like to reintroduce myself and my blog.
✨ “I’m not your average girl from your video, I ain’t built like a supermodel, but I learned to love myself unconditionally because I am a queen” and this queen is named Ashanti Chanel. God created me for a reason, that reason was to send you this message. You are beautiful baby girl. You don’t have to change what God has already blessed his hands with. What God gave you was just fine. This world changes its view on beauty almost everyday, so why try to keep up? you’re going to lose that substance, that spunk that he has given you trying to put yourself in this box that you cant even fit in. Yes, this blog is my journey on loving myself but also a voice for the woman that can’t say the things they wanna say. God gave me this voice and purpose for a reason and I’m ready for everything 2018 has to offer. I’m ready to be Ashanti, because I am a queen.
